London Citizens is currently pursuing a wide range of dynamic campaigns addressing the vital issues which touch the lives of Londoners. We run both local and city-wide strategic campaigns. Our most famous campaign is for the London Living Wage. This seven year effort has secured victories in many workplaces. In the last 12 months alone the campaign has won £20 million for London’s lowest paid. How are CITIZENS campaigns agreed?
 
Campaigns are agreed by members through votes at regular assemblies and strategy meetings. Any member organisation can propose a campaign to the full membership. All campaigns are led by an action team of individuals from the membership who undertake research, propose tactics and take part in negotiations. Any one who belongs to London Citizens can join a campaign team. These teams report back to the full membership on a regular basis. Progress in campaigns is also reported through London Citizens’ newsletters.
